Lynn Swann

Lynn Curtis Swann (born March 7, 1952) is an American politician who was the Chairman of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, he was the Republican nominee for Pennsylvania governor. Before entering politics, he was an American football wide receiver for the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers.
Swann played college football at USC, where he was a Consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 1974 NFL draft. With the Steelers, Swann won four Super Bowls, was selected to three Pro Bowls, and was named MVP of Super Bowl X. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
